The Solution
The obvious answer to all of these problems? Expand the Metrorail system. If we added more lines, some going east - west, and have more trains running 24 hours a day, the Metrorail would be much more useful. More people would ride it, and tourists would have an easy and affordable way of getting to and from Miami Beach, the airport, and many more places. Also, it would help to lessen the everyday traffic on streets for which Miami is infamous for. Being a Miami native myself, I know just how frustrating rush hour can be; And when it's added to the ridiculous price of parking, private transportation in here becomes practically intolerable. But we put up with it because we do not have an alternative. The people of Miami have tolerated enough. It's time to change things. Reform the Metrorail system.
